I attended a STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) Summit in Massachusetts today with over 500 people from k-12 schools, colleges and universities, and industry. Whenever I could, I spoke about my experiences with K12Online, and personally handed out conference flyer (I listed the presenters and presentations listed on the back. That really peaked interest.) to over 100 people who said they were interested in the use of technology to enhance pedagogy and learning. They were very impressed that it was free and a volunteer effort by teachers and educators who wanted to help others learn about technology and learning. My only request was that they share the good news about the conference with others whom they thought would be interested. I urged them to visit the site over the next 10 days to join our community and participate in the conversation. It’s about relationships, communication, information, learning and this incredible universe of people who want this planet to be a wonder filled place for the kids because in the final analysis it really is all about the kids. I’ll upload the presenters/presentation list to my wiki for anyone who is interested. innovation3.pbwiki.com twitter: dennisar Be well!
