Speaking of new tools in Education:
http://www.classflicks.com is a new Digg-like website that has as it’s main purpose to aggregate the best educational videos out there.
We all know how hard it is to find good educational videos on Youtube, for example, beause of all the “junk” that is being displayed on the first page.
So, if you know have a video or know one hosted on Youtube (and other video communities like Veoh and Metacafe), just go to ClassFlicks, create a profile and start posting your videos… others will see the videos in the “Upcoming” part and will vote, once your video has 5 votes it will be “published ” on the first page.
All you have to do is 1-copy and paste the URL of the video (this will grab general information on the video automatically, then you edit out what you don’t want). 2- in the “Description” window just paste the “EMBED” code of the video and below it add a short description of the video (if you think it is necessary). 3 – Choose a category for the video. 4- hit submit…
