Brandi: It doesn’t necessarily have to focus on one tool. For example I could imagine a presentation on customizing a classroom blog with various Google Gadgets: a different slate of gadgets for various disciplines, grade levels, projects, or what have you.

On the other hand, you might focus on one pedagogy which might lead to using a small suite of tools. For example: How can we foster metacognition in the work we have our students do? You might look at using blogs, wikis, podcasts, screencasts, etc. to do this while keeping the focus on the one idea of metacognition. It might be realized through the co-creation of assessment criteria; reflective blog posts (how do we orchestrate meaningful refelctive work in our students?), reflective photo stories on flickr (A Story in 5 Photos), correcting/editing other students work in a wiki, etc.

All this is just off the top of my head. Maybe, by thinking in terms of pedagogies instead of tools you might have a different way of thinking about your proposal and how you want to pitch it.
